Tillandsia araujei is a hardy, fast-growing airplant species native to Brazil, known for its upright, stem-forming growth and narrow, pointed green leaves that grow densely along the stem. The leaves are covered in fine trichomes, which help the plant capture moisture and light from the air. Over time, it produces multiple offsets, forming a clumping or trailing structure. When in bloom, it displays bright pink to red bracts with tubular purple flowers.
