Considered as the younger plant amongst the Ionanthas, it has pale green, silvery leaves which are long and thin with pointy ends. Its leaves extend outwards in all directions giving the plant a very full look. But, if the boldness of the plant’s well-rounded volume is still lacking, then its vibrant colors will more than make up for it. The leaves will eventually fade into a beautifully vibrant red color, pleasing to the eyes, while its flowers are a striking violet color. When the two are put together, the whole plant looks like a colorful masterpiece.
