T. ionantha var Vanhyningii

The Tillandsia ionantha var. vanhyningii has thick tapered leaves that are a pale green color with very visible shades of silver combined. The leaves are spread out and are more or less uniform in length, growing around the stem in an organized structure. The top leaves can blush into colors that range from light pink to yellow orange, and the tubular flowers that bloom out of the center are purple. The color scheme of this piece consists of very soft or pastel shades, which give the plant a dreamy appearance. It is colorful but not too bold so it would suit a wide range of area themes.
