T. albertiana x edithae
The Tillandsia albertiana x edithae is a hybrid or child plant of the Tillandsia albertiana and edithae, hence the given name. It has leaves that are various lengths, and some droop downwards while others remain upright, but the whole plant is pale green in color and remains that way even as the plant matures. It blooms flowers at the center, and these flowers are the plant’s focal point because of their eye-catching appearance. These flowers are a vibrant scarlet shade, a gorgeous contrast to the leaves’ pale tones, and its petals are spread out around the top instead of being the usual tubular ones which are fully closed. This striking piece is definitely one to be admired.
