The Tillandsia humbug species has leaves of a pear green color with hints of silver. Its elongated leaves are narrow and spread out towards all directions. Then over time a number of the plant’s leaves blush into pale shades of red or pink. From the center of the plant amongst all the leaves, deep lavender colored flowers emerge and adorn the plant. The plant in general follows a rather soft and pastel color scheme, perfect for any plant collector who is looking for something toned down, but still colorful and aesthetically pleasing. Instead of giving off a bold or striking vibe which may overwhelm some people, this piece is a simple beauty that naturally and subtly draws in attention.
