The Tillandsia ionantha v. stricta has slender leaves that are tapered, growing all around the base forming a round structure with very pointy ends. The air plant is pale green but over time the ends of each leaf blade blush into a very bright red color. As for the flowers they are the usual tubular violet ones but they complement the leaves’ blush beautifully. The leaves look like vibrant red fireworks making the whole piece look very bold and colorful. This plant is perfect for those who would want something that stands out among the rest.
