The Tillandsia loliacea primarily grows attached to wood, it has numerous stubby leaves that grow towards the sun. The blades are thick and are more or less of uniform length; they also remain straight even as the plant matures. When an inflorescence grows the spike is the same color as the leaves, they are lettuce green in color. But, unlike the leaves, this plant’s inflorescence is tall and quite slender; it blooms small yellow flowers that stand out amongst the leaves. This species follows a very soft or pastel color scheme, perfect for those who want that summery or spring type of vibe.
