This Mexican air plant species has a circular formation that consists of multiple elongated, and slender leaves of a silvery green color, which may also be a vibrant green, that taper and extend out in all directions. Although the leaves are thin, there are plenty of them that grow out, making the plant look very thick and voluminous. It has silvery hues because it is covered in tiny silver hairs called trichomes, which help the plant absorb moisture from the air. Delicate lavender-colored flowers with yellow stamens emerge amongst the many leaves, following the plant’s pale and toned down color scheme. This piece can be placed amongst other plants or decorations because its soft colors will not overpower them but will instead further complement its surroundings. But, it is also a beauty on its own.
