The Tillandsia paleacea has a very interesting appearance, its leaves are arranged in such a way that the plant looks similar to a tree’s branches. Its base is slender and brown in color, while its leaves are a very pale green shade which is slightly overpowered by the plant’s much stronger silver tones. The leaves are thick with a very subtle wave; they grow upwards but tend to collide amongst one another as the plant ages and as the leaves grow longer. Then over time, dainty little flowers that are lilac-colored bloom and are attached to a spike that is immensely slender. This piece exudes elegance, its pastel color scheme makes it so that the plant is not too loud or distracting, nor is it too plain due to the pop of color that its flowers provide.
