T. usneoides Spanish Moss (Silver leaves)
Compared to the Fine Leaves variant of this wonderful plant, which looks greener and slimmer, this plant looks similar, in terms of overall figure and structure, yet different in terms of color. Like the name implies, this variant has a strikingly sophisticated shiny silver color, unlike the greener variety. This plant, like the greener variant, seems like the overgrown coarse hair of a beautiful and elegant grandmother but thicker. Its leaves are also hair-like by the way they graciously flow generally downwards, with the tips sticking outwards, and they are extremely thin but they can also be compared to a long bundle of silver wires. And similar to how hair grows on people, this plant’s leaves end up not being the same length as the others which brings it a non-uniform yet remarkable shape. This plant has an amazing demeanor that is bound to complement the theme of any home with its simplistic appearance and adds a sense of natural ambiance to where it can be observed.
